Hi! My name is Maureen McCormack. This will be my seventh year teaching at the Elementary Level. I am very
happy to be a part of such a wonderful school and community!
I am originally from a small community north of Toronto, called Caledon. I spent the majority of my life living
there. I completed my undergraduate program at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay. I studied Outdoor Recreation,
Parks and Tourism, Geography and History.
After graduating with Honours at Lakehead University in 2001, I attended Teacher's College at Nipissing University in
North Bay. Once I received my teaching certificate in 2002, I got married to my wonderful husband, Jason. Shortly
after we were married, we made the big move to the Niagara region.
On October 21st of 2005, our lives were changed forever with the birth of our beautiful and energic baby girl
Emma.
Emma is going to be three this year. She is very excited to be a big sister.
On December 25th, 2007, we welcomed the birth of our son, Jack. Jack was actually born 2 weeks early. He
was our Christmas day surprise. Jack is currently eight months old.
