My name is Maureen McCormack. I am a second year teacher. I graduated from the Bed program at Nipissing University. I am qualified to teach in the junior, intermediate and secondary divisions. According to my certification of qualifications, I am only able to teach geography, however, I feel confident enough to teach environmental science and history. I completed my HBOR (Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism) and my BA in geography at Lakehead University.

I am currently supplying for three school boards in the Niagara to Brantford Area. Prior to Christmas, I had been on two LTO positions. My first LTO was for a Grade 8 class, and the second was a Grade 7 class. I really enjoyed both of them.

This is my first time taking an online ABQ course, so I am excited. My reasons for enrolling in the course are so that I can learn about how primary students learn and function in a classroom environment. I have supply taught in several primary classrooms and have really enjoyed the experience. I am hoping that this course will further educate me in this division.

I am looking forward to this course.
